A small vintage Taisho style bronze puppy dog sculpture in the manner of the Hirado puppy, with dark patina. Created with the traditional technique of the lost-wax (à la cire perdue) that allows a great precision and finesse in the details, this petite bronze sculpture charms our eyes with its lovely subject.

A joyful puppy dog, wearing a collar around its neck, is sitting down, looking sideways. A recreation of the Hirado puppy and made in the Taisho style, this small sculpture will make for an excellent decorative addition to any home decor.
